2021 Education Day

Dear MASA Exhibitors & Sponsors:
We are very excited that you will be able to join us next week – IN PERSON – at Boyne Mountain Resort!
Currently our facility registrations are at 90, so we are expecting a great turn out. Total attendees will be approximately 160.
Here are items of note for all exhibitors:

Thursday, September 30th
Noon – 5:30 PM EXHIBITOR MOVE IN/SET UP – West Lobby Convention Center (entrance off downtown area across from ski lift) – ALL exhibitors MUST register at MASA desk for credentials and booth location prior to set up.
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM MASA Welcome Reception/Dinner & Exhibitor Spotlight
*MASA will provide registrants with a Treasure Hunt form (game). Each registrant will have to visit all exhibitor booths to have vendor sign form. Once form is complete, it will be turned into MASA registration desk for drawing to be held Friday morning. Food and beverage will be provided.
8:00 PM – 10:00 PM MASA FUN/AMAZING RACE
*Our registrants have signed up to participate in this game of clues being led by our Platinum Vendor members as team captains. We encourage our exhibitors to stay at the event and network with registrants not participating in the race. Food, beverage, and entertainment will be provided.
Friday, October 1st
7:00 AM – 8:00 AM MASA Exhibitor Breakfast
*We will be playing a NEW game for early risers – each vendor will be provided a card with a colored dot. We ask that you keep this card face down and only share with our registrants when they come to your booth. Each registrant will be given a colored dot to match to one of our MASA exhibitors and will win once they find their matching exhibitor and taking a picture, bringing to the MASA registration desk for prize. We have a host of technology give away prizes for the first 10 people to “match” their colored dot and number with an exhibitor. They will ask you to take a picture with them showing their winning card. It will be another opportunity for our exhibitors to speak with our registrants.
We do ask at 8:00 AM when our keynote starts that all conversation at your exhibit booth stop. There will be NO packing or moving out during the keynote as we are all in the same space and the noise will be a distraction to attendees.

8:45 AM – 9:00 AM MASA Final Words & Exhibitor Prize Drawings
*Many of our exhibitors will be hosting a drawing at their table for a prize and require our registrants to complete a card or drop a business card. We will ask that at the end of our breakfast keynote, any exhibitor that had a drawing at their booth to come to the front of the stage and line up. We will allow you to come on stage, introduce yourself/company and draw your winner. We do ask that it is limited to name/company and a quick thank you and drawing as our timeline is tight. This will be another exposure to our registrants!
9:15 AM – 11:00 AM EXHIBITOR BREAKDOWN/MOVE OUT (at completion of keynote and drawings)
Attendees understand that there are dangers, inherent and otherwise, in attending the Michigan Ambulatory Surgery Association (MASA) Education Day 2021 (the “Event”) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Attendees further understand that they are responsible for complying with all current rules, regulations, and orders of the federal, state, and local government, as well as any mandates of the Event facility and MASA, regarding COVID-19 precautions, including wearing face masks while indoors and socially distancing. Attendees understand that attendance at the Event may result in potential exposure to COVID-19 and that COVID-19 may be transmitted to others. Attendees understand and agree that attendance at the Event is of my own free will and by attending the Event, Attendees voluntarily assume the risk of contracting COVID-19.

EXHIBITOR OPPORTUNITIES – SOLD
DUE TO SPACE CONSTRAINTS EXHIBIT BOOTHS ARE LIMITED IN 2021 AND WILL BE GIVEN ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS

EXHIBITOR REGISTRANTS WILL RECEIVE: 8’x10’ exhibit booth packages will be provided and consist of the following: Exhibit booth draping with 8’ high backs and 3’ high sides, One (1) 2’x8’ covered and skirted table, Two (2) chairs, One (1) wastebasket, Booth ID, Electricity, 1 conference registration – Additional tables can be ordered for a charge of $50 – Additional exhibitor attendees will be charged $150 per person.
*Please note vendors may have their own raffle prize at their booth to collect registrant information. All booths with drawings will be able to come to stage following Friday breakfast speaker to draw their winner(s). MASA will be hosting a Treasure Hunt Thursday evening during the welcome reception/vendor showcase and each vendor is asked to participate by signing off each registrants card.
